The new Spider-Man reboot and the next installment in the Men In Black franchise has just booked their filming start dates for the end of the year.

Marc Webb will begin filming his Spider-Man movie with Andrew Garfield in the main role in December at Los Angeles, shooting in 3-D. There is no news yet as to whether production will take place in New York, usually the primary location in the comic-books, but that may yet be announced.

MIB 3 is scheduled for a September start date with Barry Sonnenfeld returning to direct. Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones are set to reprise their roles, along with Josh Brolin joining the cast. The production of this film will take place in New York.

Hopefully we’ll see some stills coming out of these films pretty soon into filming, especially with a shot of Andrew Garfield in the new Spidey outfit and Smith and Jones back in the sharp black suits.

Men In Black 3 is set for a May 25th 2012 release and the as yet untitled Spider-Man reboot in set for July 12th 2012. Both will be filmed in 3-D.
